Heroes, zeros from Yankees’ Game 1 World Series loss

Heroes, zeros and the inside pitch from the Yankees’ 6-3 World Series Game 1 loss to the Dodgers on Friday night in Los Angeles:

Freddie Freeman hit a home run for the ages, blasting a grand slam off Nestor Cortes in the bottom of the 10th to beat the Yankees.

Cortes’ first outing since returning from an elbow injury went as poorly as possible after he got Shohei Ohtani to pop out.
